Once again we are busy getting vehicles in and out of the shop with our only customer's satisfaction in mind. In this week's video we have a lot in store for your viewing pleasure.
A lot of people have wishes but at Golden Touch we make wishes come true just like what we did for our customer who wanted a gun pouch with the seats we sewed up for him. Some customers want a different look to stand out so we swapped out a gray convertible top for a blue one. We have the tools to do furniture too so don't be afraid to bring your chairs, couches and stools like our customer with the bar stools who was impressed with our work.
The key to getting ahead in this business is definitely customer satisfaction. If you not only do what they ask but also throw in a little extra, even if its only close attention to detail, you will thrive because your customers will come to you before going anywhere else and recommend your services. Now that's a Golden Touch!

Golden Touch Sunroof has Lots of work... And it snowed
The always on point Doug "Baby Oil" gives us a quick view of what we have going on in the shop. Business is picking up especially because of this great weather we're having now, thank you Lord. But in the video you'll see we had some inconvenient weather to say the least.
Through all the jobs we pick up around here we've been given much appreciation for the job we did our from customers. So this is a thank you to them because we would not have been able to make it this far without them.
As usual we are putting it down in the shop working on those Cutlass and Grand Prix interiors. Those cars have a lot of work that will take a few weeks to complete. In this video, you are also introduced to new to the game of upholstery Charlie "The Rookie". You see he's already mixing it up with the colors and material.
Before I forget, I have a special shout out for Mr. Bigby who gave us the opportunity to help him remember his wife by dedicating his custom truck in her honor. R.I.P. Sherrell, your family misses you and loves you forever.

Glue, a VW and No Toilet Tissue
At Golden Touch Sunroof, we have all the tools to fasten and adhere materials together to make beautiful creations in the cars we work on. But that same adhesive used on skin is a sticky combination. Unaware, Claude wrapped his hands around the glue and once he had used the glue on his work he found out that he had accidentally used it on himself. What you see in the video should not be tried at home when it comes to unsticking yourself from yourself.
Once panic mode was over and Claude's fingers were unstuck he could get back to those VW seats. Our customer was like a kid in the candy shop and wanted to see every step that went into his seat's fabrication. So Antone, this is for you.
Last thing, you never want to run out of toilet tissue in the shop.

Shop Work
Here, at Golden Touch Sunroof, we have the perfect example of how to get 'er done. Big ups to Windshields-N-More for their help and hard work on those Jag windows. The 85 Mustang GT is one of our customer's cars that we did a little while back who just needed a little touch up paint from all the in and out of the car.
The shop is thriving right now but we're always looking for new projects. That's why you can see Claude doing things like motorcycle seats and he even sewed up that patch on Dee's (the one who we scared) arm for her social club. The new Daddy's Caddy video will be coming up as soon as we finish off a few minor details in the interior. We have a couple of projects already started in the shop right now so there is a lot more video to look forward to.
Next you can expect to see more custom cars and a special re-cap of our outing at this year's World Of Wheels expo in Atlanta complete with plenty of pictures and video.

H2 Headliner
At Golden Touch Sunroof we never shy from a job no matter how big or small. This H2 was a "biggin". Good thing is that we brought on some new help, another upholsterer, by the name of James "J". He brings a great set of skills and know-how to the shop .
As far as this H2 Hummer goes, which is about 8 miles a gallon, before it got here to our shop it had been customized. The headliner has a console, after market sunroof, and dvd player in it which all had to be accounted for. It took all three of us, Claude, J and I, to put this headliner back in place ready to be fixed to the roof.
A little extra we threw is was cleaning out the cab so the customer would not only have a new headliner but a clean vehicle to show it off in.

Daddy's Caddy
Lately down here in GA it has been cold and wet and not very pleasant riding conditions for all my whip whippers. But we're working on this 1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille brought to us by Jay's Customs which will be a great ride in the springtime. A lot of progress has been made on this vehicle including but not exclusively the headliner, door panels, and front and back seats. This car is getting a complete interior so the dash, carpet and audio still have to be installed.
This video will give our viewers and customers alike a chance to see how we "get down" at our shop. We don't just make due, we make it do what it do.
Since the first video posted introducing the shop we have brought on another upholsterer who always brings his A-Game. You'll be able to catch him on the next episode.... hold up, wait... please leave any comments along with any questions you have about our business which is customizing and interior repair.

Block Ent.'s Donkasaurous
A little while ago we got the chance to work for Bad Boy South's Big Block. We heard that people were thinking that he got his 1970s model Impala interior done in Florida. So to put that argument to rest check out this video.
We put those seats and door panels together, and fashioned a custom headliner to account for that big satellite dish behind the sunroof. Speaking of, we had to replace the sunroof and customize the frame because whoever did it before didn't do it right. But we got it right; right here at Golden Touch Sunroof.
He gave Claude a hard time about how his seats were done. He was very specific in his choice and Claude came through. All in all Block was a satisfied customer. Also, he knows that if anything goes wrong due to misuse or mistake we can fix it.
